Thank you all for signing up to run our event, UI Mobile Clinic and Iowa Free Medical Clinic are so grateful for your support! Below is information regarding the race.
Packet pick-up will take place Friday April 6th from 11AM-1PM and from 3-6PM in the MERF building (375 Newton Rd) near 1150A (Flocks Learning Community). There will be signs pointing you to where the Flocks community is.
Packet pick-up will also be available on Saturday morning before the race from 7:30-9:00 am in the MERF atrium.
We will be raffling away great prizes from the local community as part of this years doc dash. Anyone who picks up their packet on Thursday will receive 1 free raffle ticket per packet!Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase by cash or check ($1/ticket) or by donation of supplies to Mobile Clinic during packet pick-up and the morning of the race. Below are some needed supplies.
Decongestants containing phenylephrine (Sudafed) or oxymetazoline (Afrin) (please no pseudoephedrine products)
Antihistamines like diphenhydramine (Benadryl), loratadine (Claritin), fexofenadine (Allegra), cetirizine (Zyrtec)
Antifungal creams and ointments like miconazole
Medications for fever/pain like ibuprofen, naproxen, or acetaminophen
- Laxatives containing senna
For your friends and family who have not signed up yet, its not too late! Registration will remain open online through Thursday (www.uidocdash.com) and there will be in person registration on Friday during packet pick-up and on the morning of the race for race-day registration.
For those who payed by UBill, you must bring your University ID because we will need to confirm your ID number at the time of packet pick-up.
The Doc-ling Dash starts at 8:30AM, and the race begins at 9AM on April 7th! Please email with any further questions and we are excited to see you all on Saturday. Additionally, a map of the course has been attached for your review.
